COS’BUTTER PISTACHIO-O

COS’BUTTER PISTACHIO-O is a combination of pistachio seeds oil and shea stearin. The Pistachio tree belongs to the family of the Anacardiaceae, and reaches a height of around 8 m. The small, brownish green flowers are without petals and borne on auxiliary racemes or panicles in early summer. Although known as a nut, the fruit of the pistachio is botanically a drupe, the edible portion of which is the seed. The color of the kernel varies from yellowish through shades of green, which extends throughout the kernel. The seed is rich in oil and has a pleasant mild flavor and yields up to 40 % of non-drying oil.
