Salicide PX is a low toxicity biocide specifically developed for the complete microbiological protection of water based products against bacterial and fungal spoilage in the wet state. This antiseptic appears as a white to off white crystalline powder, that has a characteristic powder odor. This is insoluble in water but soluble in methanol acetone and chloroform. This product is ideal for rinse-off products, but is mostly used in hand cleansing detergents.
