ActiBiso™ PTS is based on a long chain of sphingomatides (a naturally occurring precursor of ceramides in the skin) that acts as a ceramide backbone and is present in the epidermis and surface layers of the skin. It plays the role of water – locking, anti – inflammatory and anti – bacterial in skin self – defense mechanism.
