AdvensProtect PBDE

AdvensProtect PBDE is a blend of Phenoxyethanol, Benzoic Acid, Dehydroacetic Acid, and Ethylhexylglycerin. Phenoxyethanol has been used for decades as a preservative in cosmetic products. It is effective against various gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria and yeasts. Benzoic acid: a traditional organic acid preservative with relatively low allergenic potential. Dehydroacetic acid works best in a blend of preservatives to provide a broader activity profile against microorganisms. Ethylhexylglycerin is a multifunctional ingredient with excellent emollient and preservative booster properties. This blend has a wide, balanced spectrum of activity against bacteria, yeasts, and fungi to protect any cosmetic formulation.
