AmoMax®-10 is a wustite-based ammonia synthesis catalyst. It offers higher activity than magnetite-based catalysts. Its high activity level is evident at low operating temperatures, thus enabling improved conversion at more favorable thermodynamic conditions. AmoMax®-10 leads to a significant increase of ammonia products and energy savings due to decreased loop pressure and recycle flow.
