Articalm is an extract of the leaves of Artichoke (Cynara scolymus), which are sourced from and organically cultivated. As a skincare ingredient, Articalm provides anti-oxidant benefits by scavenging free radicals and inhibiting the generation of reactive oxygen species (ROS) within skin cells. Moreover, it exhibits strong anti-inflammatory activities by inhibiting the production of nitric oxide (NO) and the expression of the iNOS mRNA, along with by suppressing the mRNA levels of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-alpha and IL-6.
