Baybright is an extract of bayberry (Myrica cerifera) bark. Bayberry bark is high in polyphenols including tannins and flavonoids. Baybright has excellent anti-aging properties with anti-oxidant, anti-photoaging, and anti-wrinkle activities. It also shows strong skin brightening activities by inhibiting tyrosinase and melanin synthesis. Its skin brightening efficacy was confirmed by in vivo study. In addition, Baybright exhibits anti-acne efficacy by inhibiting Cutibacterium acnes (C. acnes).
