BWYO-11SP (C33-9001)

BWYO-11SP (C33-9001) is a fine yellow powder with a slightly characteristic odor. This product is composed of Iron Oxides (C.I. 77492), Triethoxycaprylylsilane, and Polyhydroxystearic Acid. It is used in in a double treatment of silane and polyhydroxystearic acid (11SP). This treatment renders the pigments and powders hydrophobic and lipophilic which allows them to be easily dispersed into esters, mineral oils, and silicone fluids. In addition, 11SP also offers the ability to make a pressed powder using dimethicone as the sole liquid binder, while providing an ultra creamy feel with excellent spreadability without a glazing effect.
