C’ESTER EHP is the fatty acid ester derived from 2-ethyhexyl alcohol and palmitic acid. It is branched and fully saturated. C’ESTER EHP is a liquid emollient, skin conditioning agent and solvent. On skin, it has a dry-slip feel that is similar to some silicones. C’ESTER EHP is a medium spreading non-occlusive emollient useful in a wide range of skin care products and can be used as a replacement for mineral oil. It has a required HLB of about 7-9.
