C’ESTER MCT is a saturated triglyceride or triester of glycerin with caprylic and capric acids. It is a very stable ester that has excellent lubricity and emolliency properties. Because C’ESTER MCT forms an occlusive barrier, it is an ideal choice for all moisturizers. It is non-oily, light in color, has low odor and possesses a very low viscosity. C’ESTER MCT is suggested as a carrier, a co-solvent or coupling agent and as an emollient in cream and lotion formulations.
