COS’BUTTER RICE BRAN

COS’BUTTER RICE BRAN is obtained from the sound of rice kernels (Oryza sativa) combined with shea stearin. The extraction of oil from the sound is a fairly modern process, made possible after 1945 with the development of new sound stabilization techniques before the actual extraction. It is particularly popular in India and Japan as a high quality cooking and salad oil, with excellent stability, and more recently as a valuable ingredient for cosmetic applications. The current butter is the refined quality. Then mixed with a sweet shea stearin.
