Saliguard® COS is a paraben free, formaldehyde free and isothiazolinone free preservative with broad spectrum activity that is made from a combination of Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol and Chlorophenesin. With an excellent safety profile and global acceptance, this preservative is compatible with a diverse range of products including leave-on and rinse-off formulations at a dosage of 0.75% to 1.5% with a pH range of 3-8 in shampoos, shower gels, body washes, and in skin care creams, lotions and emulsions.
