Saliguard® SP is a paraben free broad spectrum mild liquid preservative system composed of Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Sorbate. This clear yellowish to brownish liquid can be soluble in all proportions and does not contain any formaldehyde or formaldehyde releasers. This globally approved preservative has a low toxicity profile and can be used in a wide range of formulations as well as most types of cationic and anionic systems in leave-on and rinse-off products at the pH range of less that 5.5 and a dosage of 0.5% to 1.5%.
